				<html:p>WHEREAS, Outside of his work, Brad Mettam volunteered extensively, having served in many public leadership roles over the years, including as President of the Rotary Club of Eureka, President of the Rotary Club of Bishop, Chair of the Great Basin Unified Air Pollution Control District Hearing Board, Chair of the Esmeralda County School Board in Nevada, volunteer firefighter for the Half Moon Bay Fire District and the South Lake Tahoe Fire District, Chief of the Fish Lake Valley Fire Protection District in the City of Dyer, Nevada, and as a Director for the California Senior Legislature; and</html:p>
