id="id_4D34A5F5-FC15-4254-83D7-1C923EC5B2EF"> <ns0:Content> <html:p>WHEREAS, The history of women in law in California dates back to pioneering figures, such as Clara Shortridge Foltz, who became the first female attorney in the state in 1878, paving the way for future generations of women in the legal profession; and</html:p> </ns0:Content> </ns0:Whereas> <ns0:Whereas id="id_315873C2-9458-4EF0-9660-F0172ADE85B6"> <ns0:Content> <html:p>WHEREAS, In 1942, Annette Abbott Adams broke new ground by becoming the first female justice in California when she was appointed
