				<html:p>WHEREAS, Taekwondo, the traditional Korean martial art that emphasizes discipline, respect, physical fitness, and mental strength, has become one of the most practiced martial arts in the world and has greatly contributed to global health, culture, and peace; and</html:p>

				<html:p>WHEREAS, In 1971, the South Korean government officially declared Taekwondo the national sport of South Korea; and</html:p>
