Existing law, the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act, states the intent of the Legislature to provide for the sustainable management of groundwater basins and to provide local groundwater agencies with the authority and the technical and financial assistance necessary to sustainably manage groundwater, among other purposes of the act. This bill would state the intent of the Legislature to enact subsequent legislation relating to groundwater. |
