                                <html:p>WHEREAS, August 15, 2025, marks the 80th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Korea; and </html:p>

                                <html:p>WHEREAS, Korean Independence Day or Gwangbokjeol, commemorates the liberation of Korea from Japanese colonization on August 15, 1945; and</html:p>
