<html:p>WHEREAS, September 2, 2025, marks the 80th anniversary of Victory over Japan Day (V-J Day), commemorating the date on which representatives of the Empire of Japan formally surrendered aboard the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay, ending World War II and bringing to a close the deadliest conflict in human history; and</html:p>
