<html:p>To notify the public that a state highway is closed or that its use is restricted, the department may do any of the following:</html:p>
<html:p>
(a)
<html:span class="EnSpace"/>
Erect suitable barriers or obstructions upon
the highway.
</html:p>
<html:p>
(b)
<html:span class="EnSpace"/>
Post warnings and notices of the condition of
the highway.
</html:p>
<html:p>
(c)
<html:span class="EnSpace"/>
Post signs for the direction of traffic upon the highway, or to or upon any other highway or detour open to public travel.
</html:p>
<html:p>
(d)
<html:span class="EnSpace"/>
Place warning devices on the highway.
</html:p>
<html:p>
(e)
<html:span class="EnSpace"/>
Assign a flagger
to warn, detour,
or direct traffic on the highway.
