<html:p>WHEREAS, An estimated 1,000,000 Americans, of all ages, races, ethnicities, and genders, are currently living with a primary brain tumor; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, Malignant brain tumors are among the deadliest forms of cancer, with just a 36 percent five-year relative survival rate, and can induce substantial changes in lifestyle and well-being for patients as well as their loved ones; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, For the most malignant type of brain tumor, glioblastoma, the five-year relative survival rate is only 6.8 percent and median survival is only eight months; and</html:p>
