<html:p>WHEREAS, A strong, resilient, and efficient supply chain is essential to California’s economy, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services that businesses and consumers rely on every day; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, California’s ports, airports, railways, highways, and logistics centers serve as critical hubs for domestic and international trade, supporting millions of jobs and maintaining the flow of essential goods to communities across the state and nation; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, Supply Chain Awareness Month highlights the importance of protecting and strengthening the infrastructure, workforce, and policies that support the movement of goods and services, ensuring economic stability, job growth, and access to everyday necessities; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, The supply chain industry is a cornerstone of California’s economy, employing workers across transportation, logistics, warehousing, and retail, and driving commerce for businesses large and small; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, The workers and labor force within the supply chain—port workers, truck drivers, warehouse employees, rail operators, and logistics professionals—are essential to keeping goods moving and ensuring the stability of the entire supply chain industry; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, The Supply Chain Federation is a national advocacy organization dedicated to securing and strengthening America’s supply chain by uniting business and labor to protect jobs, invest in infrastructure, and ensure supply chain stability in the face of global and domestic challenges; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, The Supply Chain Federation supports policies that:</html:p>

Strengthen and expand infrastructure investment to build and maintain ports, roads, bridges, railways, and airports, ensuring supply chain efficiency;
</html:p>

<html:span class="EnSpace"/>
Support workforce development and job creation at each critical point of the supply chain, from transportation hubs to logistics centers, sustaining high-quality jobs in California;
</html:p>
<html:p>

<html:span class="EnSpace"/>
Recognize and support the essential contributions of supply chain workers and labor organizations, ensuring policies that protect jobs and enhance workforce stability;

Promote the adoption of practical, climate-friendly technologies that are ready for implementation without disrupting businesses and supply chain operations; and
