<html:p>WHEREAS, The Secretary of the United States Department of Homeland Security holds a critical responsibility to uphold the United States Constitution, faithfully execute the laws of the United States, and protect the safety and civil liberties of the American people; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, Kristi Noem has consistently failed in her duties as the Secretary of the United States Department of Homeland Security by breaking her oath to support and defend the United States Constitution; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, Secretary Noem has used the power bestowed upon her to interfere with criminal investigations into the murders of Alex Pretti and Renée Good by covering up information and evidence; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, Secretary Noem made false and inflammatory remarks about the nature of Renée Good and Alex Pretti’s murders that were in no way supported by any evidence; and</html:p>

<html:p>WHEREAS, Secretary Noem has irrevocably damaged the credibility of and the public’s faith in the United States Department of Homeland Security; and</html:p>
