<html:p>WHEREAS, Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a gastrointestinal disorder of gut-brain interaction that is characterized by recurring abdominal pain, bloating, and altered bowel movements. Although many Americans suffer from individual symptoms, they do not realize it is a medical condition called IBS, and for this reason it often goes undiagnosed by physicians and patients; and </html:p>
