(a)
<html:span class="EnSpace"/>
A political subdivision may lease a lot or building,
or part thereof, belonging to it that is not required for public use, for a period not exceeding 20 years or may acquire and lease or sublease
a
lot or building, or part thereof, for a period not exceeding 20 years to a veterans association, veterans service organization, or nonprofit veteran service agency organized in
the political subdivision to be used for the purposes of the veterans association, veterans service organization, or nonprofit veteran service agency.

(b)
<html:span class="EnSpace"/>
The rental shall be fixed by the governing body of the political
subdivision and may be nominal in amount.
